This is my Treo sync station on my desk at work. I had to come up with something upright for my phone to sync and charge. Older PDA phones came with a station to set the phone into, but not the Treo’s anymore. I used some old Taiwanese pallet wood with some interesting coloration. I just need to work on hiding my drywall screws better. The plug is clamped by the little block and screws. The phone sets stable on the plug.

Careful, if you work in a big workplace you may have lots of people wanting one…but I like the juxtaposition of old materials with new technology.

Nice use of the pallet wood. May have to borrow the idea for my phone charger.

A nice job. Gotta love imported pallets.
