Awesome. Owls are so cool because they are mysterious and rare to see… least where I live. I sure hope you have a new tenant really soon to make this worth while.

He’ll love it when it gets occupied. I had one up for years and had Screech owls move in every year. I loved taking pictures of the baby owls all perched in the hole. I hope you can position the box so the hole is visible from your house. They just go back down if you get too close.

This is the time of year – at least here in SE PA – that you hear them at night calling each other.

Well done, young man. It’s good to see you using the eye and ear protection.
I have a question though, do you or any other Lumberjocks have any idea about how high off the ground the owl house needs to be?
