HI JIM
Thanks for the thumbs up. It took some trail and error and it’s been long enough that I don’t remember a lot of how I put it together.
Merry Christmas
Jim

I’m a big fan of classic (real divided lite) windows and doors. Yours looks great.

Hey Miles
Thanks. My father in-law was a sash and door man for over 50 years one of many impressive window jobs he did were the very strange windows in toontown in disneyland.
Take care
Jim

This is so beautiful. It must have taken ages for you to make.. It is classical design? I have homework now to design home and chosen for me is classic French architecture. Have just started making drawings.. it is a pain. You have so much patience to make details :)

calculating the radius of a circular arc.
Half the chord multiplied by itself plus total bow multiplied by itself. Then divide this result with the double camber, and you have the sum of the radius length.
Ex. A Kordes arbitrary length is 100 cm. 100 cm divided by 2 = 50 (half the chord) 50 multiplied by itself = 2500th
Let’s say the total bow is = 25 cm. 25 multiplied by itself = 625th
2500 +625 = 3125th This’s conclusion is divided by double the camber set of 25 cm. 25 +25 = 50. 50 divided by 3125 = 62.5 cm. which is the sum of the radius of the given arc of a circle.
That is to figure out when even I can do it. The difficulty may lie in my messed explanation, but try for yourself.
good luck.
Ps. nice job Jim.
