My daughter found an old umbrella stand last year and did a rough sketch for me for future reference.
After looking at it I realized it was an original Limbert #253.
I decided to build it for her as a Christmas gift.
It is all QSWO with mortise and tenon joinery.
The copper drip pan was formed by a friend at a local business.
Thanks for looking…................

I admire your daughter who took the sketch of the old umbrella stand for future use. How old was she when she took this sketch. You have made a wonderful use of this sketch and built a very nice U. stand. Thanks for posting and convey my admiration to your daughter.

Thanks guys,
I appreciate the comments .
Sharad, my daughter was 21 when the drawing was done.
She says she would like me to eventually build her a house full of A&C furniture.
That sounds like an interesting challenge!
