Alternate layers of oak and poplar form the clock body. One of the layers includes a sliding door to access the quartz clock mechanism and battery from the back.

Now that’s different ! Very nice design and I can see it being used with several different contrasting wood species . Is it your own original design ? Happy Holidays !
