finishing touches on kitchen

I have been working off and on at some of the little things to finish up the kitchen in the apartment we are living in at this time. I must agree with my wife it does look better with the floating stiles in place and the hardware
in place.
The rod iron handles were a little bigger than I would normally pick, but one of the wholesalers I deal with was closing them out normally $15 each on sale for $1.50 each. I thought for $1.50 they would look great.
And actually they look very nice.

As always thank you much for looking and I really appreciate your thoughts.
Thanks again and have a blessed evening, Todd

Thanks Bill,
I am pretty happy with the way they turned out, I always have loved any wood with a lot of color character.

The maple is just a low grade soft maple. And I always wish I had more money when I see close out deals
like this one.

Thanks for your thoughts, Have a blessed evening, Todd

The finishing touches really did it! And what a deal on the hardware! I can’t pass up deals like that even if I don’t have a current use for it.

Thanks L/W,
I love good deals, I usually don’t have the money to stock up the way I would like.
I think the kitchen turned out nicely. I like wood character that often comes with lower grades of lumber.
Often it is a little more work picking through the wood for the pieces you need, but is very worth it in the end.

Thank you for your comments, and have a blessed day, Todd

Looks good Todd. I really like the handles, and can envision myself standing in the cabinet hardware aisle saying “Dang. I wish these handles weren’t 15 bucks! That’s too rich for our blood”

Oh, and you can take down that sticky note on the fridge door that says
. 1… Take out trash.
.2…Finish the cabinets

The cabinets are beautiful. Nice job. There are a lot of them there. That must have taken a good bit of time.
