Hello, Hope the powers to be do not delete this since it is not a project…...........This 1949 Christmas catalog was found when cleaning up my Father’s Estate. I can browse in it for hours. thought all you Lumber Jocks would get a kick out of the woodworing equipment listed & especially the prices…..enjoy…..........................Jack

Hey Crash,
Growing up almost every thing we had came from Sears & Roebucks.
I remember looking through the catalog so much that the pages started to fall out!
This brings back very fond memories.
Thanks for sharing.

From 1949 to 2015 – when you really look at the basics of these tools its surprising how little has really changed when compared to other technologies in our lives.

1949 was the year of my birth so I didn’t do much shopping in that catalog but for many years after it was the only way myself and my whole family shopped.

OMG. I think I have the table saw on page5—Inherited it when my Father In-Law passed away. Gotta check tonight after work.
