This is the second version for a flight deck jersey. Basic intarsia for the sleeves, neck, etc and glued up a 3/16” back piece for strength. Both the shirt and the wings are made of pine. I added a few extra coats of high gloss for the wings to make them stand out a little from the rest of the shirt. The added plaques personalized for the recipient. Simple, yet unique. Roughly 20” x 20” in size. Wings were carved using a Carvewright.

Flight Deck – very dangerous place to work during flight ops. Hair can get singed, you can freeze/fry and the smell of jet exhaust is just wonderful. Thanks for the service – you’ve earned it. Well done on the shirt. Rather unique.
