Here is a shadow box I was asked to build for a local shop. Made of oak and mahogany. Overall, it is 44” x 25 1/2”. That includes the removable base. The base has coin slots I it for additional challenge coins. The store did the installation of the inside items.

Thank the CMSgt for his/her service. Nice work TexUSAF. The contrast between the woods works for me.

Thank you all for the comments. This is the first time I have made one like this so I was very nervous about doing it. In the end, I am very pleased with it, and the owner of the shop was too. I have been asked to build another one now.

I’m looking to have a shadow box made for our Chief who is retiring soon (August 2016). He loved two pieces he saw on this site and one was yours. If you could get back to me and let me know if you’re available to make this exact same piece, we’d greatly appreciate it. Thank you!
