Another Carrier Shadowbox for a Chief that is retiring off the USS CARL VINSON (CVN 70). Just for reference, my daughter is 4ft 8 inches tall. This was made out of Cherry and invested about three months into it. A coin holder slides in below the Flag Holder (Triangle) to display challenge coins.

Nice Job Chief. I love the fact that you used a carrier as the foundation of your design! I am currently working on on modeled after a Tomcat. So far the design process has been a pain. I will hopefully have it finshed after our upcoming deployment in January. Hopefully have pics next fall. Thanks again for sharing your wonderful piece!

Thank you for your service!

Excellent project. This caught my eye because of the LJ Pulse feature. I was on the CVN70 a couple of times providing medical support for a Tiger Cruise and an ammo onload. Great ship and an awesome crew!

Thank you! Have made about 30 of these units to date out of various wood.
Working on a new design to come soon.
