Project Information

I just delivered this plaque to a customer. It is a parting gift for a Seal Team member who is moving on to a new command. This order came as a last minute request from a very good customer. I spent 2 nights this past week working until 3am designing, cutting, and finishing this so I could have it done in time. It was worth it. The customer was very happy. This plaque is designed to lay flat on a desk or table and holds about 16 challenge coins. It is made from cherry wood, stained Red Mahogany and finished with clear lacquer.

That looks great, Tim! A carved ribbon is always a nice feature.

A nice looking plaque Tim. You did a good job with the design, layout, & knot orientation. The finish is also superb. I realize that you used your ShopBot making the plaque but here is something that may still interest you.
