One more, before Christmas

Made this one last week, with the very last of the “decent” Cedar scraps. It’s just over 5” long. Cut some thin strips of Mahogany left over from “The Ark” project for the top and bottom. I can’t really show you here, but after I finished the thing, the Mahogany unexpectedly took on a nice sort of shimmering effect, which kind of “shifts” when you move it in the light or look at it from different angles. Used Mahogany to line this as well.
While I had them all hanging around, I couldn’t resist taking the last photo of some of the boxes I made this year! Enjoy the Holidays and have a great 2009 Everyone! Michael C.
