SJG, I like the six box projects you have posted. They all are experimental and interesting with an eye to the utilitarian. They were fun to see. I think it will be interesting to see how your work evolves.

I should think there may be several variations possible for your “Shabby Chic” form. It has a certain simplicity that might be fun to try with thinner sides and a more complex design for the extended corners.

What I like best about your work is that it has a sense of play. You seem to be having a good time just experimenting and trying out new ideas to see where non-conventional approaches will lead you. You are building really interesting boxes and seem to be having fun doing it.
