Finaly finished six months project. Cabinet made of oak outside and firwood inside. All board were joined with biscuits.Edge joints are hand made overlaping dovetails strengten with home made oak 8mm dovels (it’s far from perfect, but I’m stil learning). Half blind dovetails on drowers were made with template, as well as finger joints on interior 3 drawers box. Finish is semigloss water base laquer and I used some wood gel for first layer which preserve original colour of oak and prevent it to get dark and yellow.

Nice build, I like the modern trapezoidal theme and the windows. The oak gives it great texture, too.

Extremely well done and very unique. Nothing so magnificent in the market. I’m certain that you’re proud of the things you’ve learned during the creation.

Ivan, that is a nice design. The overlapping dovetails look great and the window is a nice feature. Very sleek looking.
Well done.
