very nice shelf. I like the material you used for the back. I’d like to see it finished and installed. Nice work

hey rob, sorry I dropped the ball with the response…what type of woodworking are you doing with your stock? it seems like you could be a west coast version of that other guy on here (forgot his name at the moment) who makes a lot of rough cut stump chairs/slab benches/outdoor stuff…anyways, i agree with kolwdwrkr, lets see it up on the wall! keep up the good work rob…

That shelf left on a truck this morning bound for Camptonville CA. It was a freebe for a friend who’s neighbor owned a landmark restaurant-bar destroyed in a fire last year. The walnut tree was prominent in the parking lot and this shelf is going to the owner basically as the only thing she has left of her business. I won’t get to see it mounted but I’m pretty sure it will be cherished – - As far as what type of wood-worker am I , I haven’t figured that out yet.

Lovely piece of wood. Reminds me of the text book ‘cut away’ of a volcano.
-- The wood slayer - Yes dear I did plan to make more kindling out of that wood I have been drying for the last year - honest!
