A teacher at the high school that works with my wife (close friends) is retiring next week, getting married, and moving to another state. My wife asked me to also make her something for Christmas but it just wasn’t ready and the wood kept moving on me. Anyway after being reminded I finished it just in time and also put in a little creature as a added bonus. I know she will like it with her great sense of humor and hope she will display it in her new adventures.
Made of apple wood, of course, and finished with lacquer. About 4 1/2’’ tall. Found the old worm in the tackle box.
Thanks for looking.

Roger, Very well suited for the gift….Realy like the apple wood and it shows that you can make something of beauty from something in the raw that most would not consider. Fantastic.

That is very original, a great idea and I’ll bet a cherished gift.
Love the worm.

-- Bob, Western Australia, The Sun came up this morning, what a great start to the day. Now it's up to me to make it even better. I've cut this piece of wood 4 times and it's still too damn short.

Very nice Apple…

Very nice Worm…

Except one thing… The worm should be 1/2 of a worm… :) LOL
