This is my latest creation, for my mom for Christmas. It is made from curly maple with cherry knobs. The entire piece is solid wood with a bookmatched panel on the back. It has a quartz movement. The finish is 4 coats of tung oil with 2 coats of shellac rubbed out with 4/0 steel wool after each coat. It will replace a clock that she had that broke after many years of use.

I love the clocks I made and you’re just went on my Favorite’s list for my next project. The Wood looks like mother nature was waiting for you to harvest it and make a clock.
You made that tree proud.
Great project, Great workmenship, All Time favorite Gift.

It was a great project to build. The plans were purchased from Woodcraft and were pretty straight forward. This is the first time I had built anything from plans, most of the time I design as I go but I wanted something unique for her. I appreciate all the feedback, this is a great site. Merry Christmas to everyone!!

Its me again I really like your clock so I went to Woodcraft for the prints but of course I could not locate them. Do you have a print number or the part number of the plans.
Thanks in advance.
