this is another example of finding a use for scraps. I included the wine tower picture so you can see where I got the pieces used for the card holders: to wit, when you band saw out the circles in the tower you are left with semi-circular scraps approx. 4” diameter (and often of nice woods which don’t deserve to be burned). You take these scraps and cut off 1/4 inch front and back, cut a semi circle piece from the interior, reglue the front and backs on and Voila! a new life for a small scrap !!!!!!!!!! Good quality wood should be used to the last scrap…
