I was inspired to give making some jewelry a shot. Small work is definitely not my usual forte so I had a number of items scrapped at the bench before getting to a final ones I was happy with. It was nice to put a bunch of exotic scraps to use though and have basically instant gratification from really what amounts to a couple day project (including glue drying time).

Pac Man and Ghost – yellow heart and red heart

Red Squares – bloodwood and wenge

Diagonal Squares – maple and wenge

Pendant – purple heart, bloodwood and yellow heart

All the posts were recessed slightly into the wood by pre-drilling with a forestner bit; finished with a couple coats of BLO and two coats of spar urethane (they were small enough where I could literally dunk them in and let them drop off).

Good job! I have had this on my to do list for a while but didn’t know where to get the hardware. Where’d you get yours?

Thx. I ordered them off amazon. RoseBeading was the seller. These have a 10mm pad which I think is a very workable size but they come in a variety of pad sizes and finishes.

Okay this absolutely brings back the video arcade days of being a kid! Great work and thanks for sharing!
