This is a custom sideboard that I made a little while ago. I just posted up an article on my Furniture Blog that shows some of the steps involved in working on a large marquetry piece like this.

Nice piece. I like the sky veneer.
You’ve also done a nice job with the 3D effect with minimal shading.
Handsome piece of furniture.
