Kitchen Remodel

I spent the better part of 2014 completely remodeling my Kitchen. Here are the finished pics, a more detailed write up can be found here: http://lumberjocks.com/Scott_C/blog/46762

I did all the work myself, except for the exterior doors and windows. I built the carcasses, slide out shelves, assembled and installed all the cabinets. Also did all the design, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, tile work, drywall, trim and paint. The cabinets are frameless, shaker style doors, cherry finished with General Finishes Enduro Var.

I did not make the doors or drawer boxes though. They came from Mid Michigan Wood Specialties whom I highly recommend to anyone looking to sub out doors. They did it for a very competitive price which made subbing them out an attractive option. I did however do all the finishing.

Very nicely done. I have to admit, the sliding hide away gate is the coolest part.

Nicely done. That’s a big job you took on and you’ve got reason to be proud of the results.

Nice job all around! I love cherry cabinets! That nice warm cherry wood makes for a beautiful kitchen. Excellent work!

Very nice. I too like the sliding doggie jail.
Well done.
