My second attempt at an Andy Art Box. Body is walnut, lid is maple, and the “medallion” is cherry. Handle is purpleheart, and the splines are maple & purpleheart. Hinges are 1/8”brass pins. Finish is semi-gloss lacquer.

Things went a little smoother on this one. Still a ton of sanding though.

Beautiful box! Raised my eye brows when I saw this great looking art box.
