I made this sign this today for an upcoming furniture show (this weekend actually). I recently saw a picture of a hammock Jory Brigham had made and I thought it would look cool as a sign. The base is made from 2” maple and the joints are 140 mm x 12 mm dominos. I didn’t want to spend a lot of time carving so I had a pal CNC the lettering. After that I drilled a couple 1/2” holes and tied it up with some rope I found in the shed where our cattle chute is. It will be finished with 5-6 coats of Maloof oil.

Nice idea with the way you made the sign holder, this will greatly indicate you abilities and craftsmanship. Good luck at the show.

Really like the design. I bet it brings the customers in.

Looks great. A lot better than the cheap vinyl sign I’m using right now.
