My wife wanted a front walk entry way arbor but hates lattice so that was a no no. After a little scratching away at my design center(kitchen table) I proceeded, & the result is the majenta colored arbor to match the step handrailings & front door. A neighbor spots it & started a whine for an arbor to the entry to her garden.
Again…no lattice. She painted hers gray(I hate painting.

Great work Lee. Did you work from a pattern or was it free hand?

The designs came off my kitchen table. I suppose when the sketching was done you could say they were plans….but only good enough for the guy who drew them to be able to convert them to finished arbors.
