My Brother in Law needed a modification for his new 12 string Rickenbacker. The original Truss rod cover encroached on the space needed for the strings. A little sketch, a little laser, and Bob’s Your Uncle!

Top is the sketch, middle is the original (notice the larger hump) and the bottom is the result.

Just awesome work my friend. I need one for my rick bass. took it to have some fret work done when it came home the truss rod cover was cracked. of coarse they didn’t do it. could you make one for me? I am willing to pay. thanks

Hey Charles-
Depends… the guy in the middle is clear that as reverse engraved and painted on the back side. Gives that translucent effect. the guy on the bottom is just regular black and white plastic.

BIG GUY MADE RICKENBACKER TRUSS ROD COVERS FOR ME. NOT ONLY IS HE TALENTED, HE IS TRULY ONE OF THE NICEST PEOPLE I HAVE EVER MET. AS MY WIFE SAYS, HE’S A KEEPER. THANKS YOU SO MUCH RON, THE WORLD IS A BETTER PLACE WITH YOU IN IT!!!!!!!
