This is my Stepstool. It was made in december in wahoo Nebraska it was a late anniversary/Christmas present for my grandparents. We connected the boards with biscuit joints and also pocket hole joints. I chose the small cut at the bottom so I could still have my j and s. The laser engraving is my grandparents names and the day they got married. I used a walnut shade of water-based stain to make the African mohagany look a little bit better and to top off the stain I used formbys ting oil finish this project took a month or to with only 45 minutes to work a day

I like your work. Do you do your own laser engraving?

That’s a class project that my students did. I have a relative that has a laser engraver that I was able to use over Christmas break. That top came out really well.

Have your say...
