Today I decided to trun a bowl for my uncle’s christmas present, It is 6” diameter and 2” deep.I chose to do a simple design as I realy like the grain pattern which is brought out even more by the wax finish.

Hey Callum, nice pair of bowls. Do you use a faceplate or a chuck when turning these? Should try to work them thinner but that is just my opinion.

I use both face plate and chuck, personly I like the thicker look, I have done thinner sides in the past but I like this look better:)
