I started this bowl in january and only finished it yesterday due to me not being able to get to my lathe. I am giving it to my parents for christmas, It is 8 1/2” diameter and about 1 1/2” deep. That Looks more like a Change Bowl..
Like something you would put at the Door so when you come in, you drop your keys and change in it as you walk in, or even on a Dresser to drop your keys, wallet, change etc in…

That is a really nice bowl Callum. The swirl of the rings draws the eyes to the centre – It will almost be a pity to see it actually being used and hiding that feature.
