Arrow is a german short hair retriever. he is my son in laws dog and this was done a few years ago. it is a woodburning and arrow is a wonderful hunting dog. and my son in law loves him to death.

his favorite sleeping place is the spare bed. he claims it is his own. and hates it when company comes and he has to give it up. lol.

he was a wonderful model to work with.
the woodburning was done on a maple door. enjoy

Pat, you always say you put your art on doors and such, why not on portable mediums. Your art should be hanging in galleries. Mike

thanks mike, i should have explaned it better. the doors are cabinet doors i got from the door factory. which i no longer can get. darn it. new owners.
and i have some of my carvings in a gallery. and also in a gift store. most of my woodburnigns are commssions so i do not have them with me.

thanks. Arrow is my son in laws dog. he is getting old now. but still likes to go hunting

That could be more beautifully done. The dog’s eye even looks real.
