yes, they are chip carved onto Lime, also known as Basswood

Very nice…

Wanted to take my hands on a carving Spree to give it a Shot, never done carving… Love the way it’s done…

One of these days i will, for now I will stick with my Scroll Saw.

Very nice job.It’s always great to look back over the years when decorating the tree and remember when you got this one or made that one.
