I guess I’m posting this in response to recent forums about dealing with “scraps” or “drop offs”, as I call them. This is a little cart I built some years ago out of a magazine plan. It rolls around so I can keep it out of the way or store it where I want it. The bins in front are graduated from shortest to longest – top to bottom. The upright bins in back do the same, although you can see I just drop them in. This at least gives me some kind of idea as to what lengths, thicknesses, and wood types are available for small projects or pieces needed for projects. This really beats sorting through boxes or piles on the floor. Believe it or not, when the front bins are packed full, I throw them away. This is how I decide which ones to keep. Enough is enough! Then I immediately begin the refill. As always, bbqKing.
