A couple of bike racks

Here are a couple of bike racks I built for a friend to display his bikes in his apartment. They are made of padauck and hard maple. They attach to the wall with a french cleat. I will post more pics when the get mounted on the wall.

This is a really great idea, I might use it someday. Why is the box so deep? Maybe to accommodate the pedals sticking out?

The box was made that deep to keep the handlebars off of the wall.

These look great. As an apartment dweller I remember looking into manufactured ones, and they all seemed overpriced, but these look great, adding to my todo list.

It is mounted on the wall with a French cleat.
