Here are 4 wine boxes I made for Christmas gifts. Wood is elm, finish is danish oil followed by wax. Grape clusters were routed with my palm router, and painted with acrylic paint. The first one I made has a hinged door, the rest have sliding tops. I have 9 more to go.

Those look great! I’ve never worked with elm, but it sure looks good. Nine more, huh? The clock is ticking!!

Yes – the clock is ticking. I plan on doing 4 hours of shop time tues, weds, thurs, and fri, 12 hrs on sat and sun. They should all be done by next mon am barring problems.
