Not much of a story here, I’ve seen a few different versions of these and decided to make my own. Maple and cherry. The cherry stripe is thicker than the maple so it’s slightly elevated when not resting on my pillow :)

This is a nice project. Cherry and maple are my personal favorites and you have combined them well in this project.

I like how the design plays off the light off the candles when in shadow. It makes a simple gift much more.
