Just 2 boards of chestnut and 5 meters of LED tape lights.

Even if it’s easy to build, maybe it cans interest someone here. And in this case, you can download the plan on L’Air du Bois (a french woodworkers community).

Can I ask why one needs 5m of LED stripping? Doesn’t that put off some crazy amount of lumens (even if you can dim it)? Now that you’ve done the project, do you think it needs that much?

5 meters is approximatively 300 LEDs and 230 lumens. I think it isn’t to much ;)

Oh, funny. I was looking at strips which were 100-200 lumens per foot… :)
