Hi guys. i know alot of you are not into the old styles I love so much, so i figured I would let you know that I know how to make other styles too. I love this figured cherry. Its not much fun to work, but I think its worth all the sharpening of my planes, chisels and scraper. Mitered corners are mitered dovetails. Blanket chest, ladies dresser and tall dresser.

Nice work Thomas. You definitely have your chops down. The curly cherry is droolworthy. Gotta clean up my keyboard now.

Perfect, or maybe better. I like the sapwood that you chose to include in the set, as you mentioned in the podcast. I’d like to know more specifics on the method you used on the raised panels on the table saw. I couldn’t really see how you set it up on the saw. Almost like you would do a cove cut, but it looked like you fed perpendicular to the blade.

Beautiful work Thomas. I have watched every one of your online videos and enjoy them greatly. I learn a ton from watching you and this piece is just another display of your workmanship. One piece of advice you gave me is how to layout your pieces in the rough – I am working on a new cabinet for my home and following your advice from layout to use of hand plans. Thank you!
