Wood Whisperer

This is my entry into the Knot Like No Other contest. I have always wanted to carve a wood spirit, and when I found a small junk of material with a knot in it I got an Idea. How did my spirit become a spirit? Well, because of the inspiration from the knot, maybe we all know now.

Kolwdwrkr – Your carving work is really nice. Looks like this spirit nearly got it between the eyes.

Thanks for posting it.

Great carving! I admire people who have the ability to see the project “inside” the medium they are working in.

What a wonderful carving. I have to echo Lew’s comment. As a non-carver I appreciate seeing this gift expressed as you have done here.

Good luck in the contest.
