Stunning…they feel like they are made out of stone. I love the form. The wild grain is almost too much.

Ya know, sometimes I get a little cocky and I start to think that maybe I am pretty good with my tools. Then I see pictures like these and I realize that I’m just another shnook beating on a dead tree with a pile of dull metal sticks…
Beautiful work!

Thank you all for your comments, but Yo! Woodbutcher … Lighten up on yourself !!! ... It took 5 of us to make these pieces … Jeremy did most of the case building and heavy lifting, Trevor did the backboards with the inlays and little triangles, WIll dovetailed all the drawers, Sam made the hardware, I did the design work and hung the doors and drawer faces …. AND the clients are paying us to do em …. we’re just a bunch of lucky guys up here in the woods …. keep the faith and keep at it …dan
I’ll add a quote here that I came across recently … ‘All of us are smarter than one of us’ Have a good weekend ….

Very nice. I really like the Egyptian look!
David Marks made something like them on wood works.

I read your earlier post on these and was anxious to see the finished pieces. They are outstanding . . . but then so is all of your work!
Thanks for posting.
