For my first project I though I would show my latest oak box. Because this came out of my brother-inlaws wood pile it is there Christmas present. It’s not real big 8”x 5” x 3” but it’s all I could squeez out of the 14” log.
I am finishing up another one out of Avocato wood that I hope to put up tomarrow.

The splines were redwood, the only contrasting color I had.

Good thing about giving our creations as gifts is that we can visit them & see the relatives at the same time. Wish I had some relations who are craftspeople! Great box from the woodpile Paul.
