Beech Bowl

Just finished this Beech bowl. It is 9” dia and 3 1/2” tall as the wood is a bit plain I thought I would add some texturing to the outside

You call it plain? Wow, I call it beautiful. There is something so understated and nice about this bowl. Thank you for sharing this. The texture really did make it pop, but the grain on the inside is very nice. I wouldn’t call it plain. I would call it great work

Good looking bowl! What tool did you use for the texture? Looks like maybe a wire brush?

@poospleasures Texturing is way easier than most people think. Brendan Stemp on youtube has a very quick but good guide to awesome texturing on the cheap. Of course I saw this AFTER I bought my texturing tool from craft supplies USA…

I used the Robert Sorby Spiralling and texturing tool.
