Here are the first three of the new Tea Candle Holders i started making. These are all made from scrap pieces of hardwood in my shop such as oak, maple etc. I have another 15 or so in finishing right now, getting stained/ lacquered etc. Fun little project, will see how they go at some upcoming arts & crafts sales.

Basic question: what is the hole diameter for these tea candles? Here we find it in 1.5/8 with the aluminium can, or 1.1/2 only the candle.

I am using a 1 and 5/8th Forstner bit for the holes. Works well with the candles I have which measure 1.5”including the thin metal casing.
