Patch Cord Hanger

I got tired of stacking my patch cords on top of the amplifier. No matter how hard I would try, I always picked up one and a bit cords. This would make for a tangled mess to fight with, all the while trying to balance my guitars head stock from pivoting downward to the floor. I know this is very much a first world problem, but it’s a problem none the less. These are a couple fast and dirty cable racks made from pine and unknown dowel material. The three pin setup provides good support to prevent kinking. The upward pin angle keeps the cables in place on the wall. There is no finish on them at all, like I said “fast and dirty”.

Nice Rigs and a nice drum kit too!
How nice to have a dedicated music room.
Good job on the cord reels. Should keep your studio nice and neat.

Thanks guys, The drums belong to my girlfriends teenage son. We like to blow off steam and make some noise whenever possible. The guitar is actually an LTD Viper. I also have a 1965 Gibson SG but it keep that one in a safe place. Now if I can just convince him to use the cable rack and not leave my patch cords on the floor. Haha Kids

Good idea ! I used to hang mine on a C-clamp secure on the upright of a bookcase. A quick new project on my list. Thanks.
