A couple of Christmas Gifts that did not end up being posted until today. Pocket Watches, turned and finished with a Wipe On Poly. 1. Padauk 2. Oak 3. Walnut

Look neat. Can’t really use as real pocket watches or I would have to believe, that without a cover, they would get scratched quickly. Still pretty cool.

Oldwolf —these are just great, I love them. I might have to steal your idea if I ever get a lathe.

ohwoodeye—-I prefer pocket watches with a cover myself, but many old ones do not have a cover. You keep them in a pocket with nothing else in it, and keep the glass side inward to prevent scratches. Plus, you don’t use them while working. I learn this the hard way.

where did you get the part that the chain hooks too do not know what its called

to Cebfish, the chains and hooks come as an unit. sourced from Lee Valley.
