Butternut and Walnut Jewelry Box

This is a medium size jewelry box I made for my wife. Its made mostly from butternut with a walnut bottom and lid. The box is dovetailed and I attempted breadboard ends for the lid. The finish is watco danish oil. This was my first attempt at dovetails, breadboards, hinges, boxes… Oh heck, it was my first project that wasn’t a boat or a paddle.
