This a rustic table I made out of oak I found where they unloaded pipe on the side of the road. The top was made from New Venetian Gold granite that was going to be thrown away at the granite shop I work for.

Love the project – the tusked mortise and tenon joints really add to the old world charm.

Nice little table. I’m wondering what a “live edge” treatment on the granite top would look like. Might be interesting to try sometime.

Very cool free table. I’m with Miles, I think some trim on the granite would really bring it all together. But what do I know.
