Remind me why I try to work while the kids are awake? I walked out to the shop for 30 seconds to grab a new bit for the drill, when I returned I found this. My 2 year old and 4 year old decided to make my new cabinet door an art project. Where they found the pen, I have no idea. It was as if it was planned.

I don’t know about you but I had kids for the tax credit. In retrospect, I’m not sure that was a winning financial decision.

Bummer man.

Adds to the “distressed” look don’t you think? Hopefully some day you will look back and laugh about it… probably when one them are complaining to you about something one of your grand-kids did.

It’s okay.

When the kids were little (babies, really), I started working one day and the next thing I knew –
they were having babies of their own.

Not making that mistake with the grandkids.

Looks like they’ve been watching “trading spaces”. On second thought, their work is far superior to anything I ever saw on that show.

Years from now their ‘artwork’ will be more priceless than a Picasso – to you.

Just remember they will produce the grand kids. That will make it worthwhile ;-)

All great points – now I feel guilty for being upset – I’m almost leaning towards keeping it as a memory.

Good idea. Be thankful they are able to do it. Too many are born with disabilities.

You gotta smile and says kids will be kids. A lil sanding, finishing, cursing, and all is right.
