Maple and Walnut Cross

I made this cross to use up some small scraps I had left over from making spoons.I used the mitre saw to cut the joint and cleaned it up with the chisels,This was a quick simple project.I sanded it to 800 grit then gave it a spray of clear coat from rustoleum.

Really nice!

Something like this would look really nice on the front of a church lectern/podium.
