I haven’t seen much figured Pink Ivory and didn’t realize this was figured as the saw blade markings disguised it. The markings are subtle but distinct as this one turned out to be pretty nice. The wood is extremely hard and dense and polishes up really nice. I only wish I had a piece of figured purpleheart to match, but then it would be too busy.

Very pretty, the two colors match up well, looks good. Never saw the pink ivory before.

I’d call this one “The Flamingo”. :) Beautiful work!
