Here is the comb I made for my wife for Christmas. She says it’s the most romantic present anyone has ever given her. Inspired by the work of BTimmons… Thanks! Finished with two coats of shellac and then buffed with beeswax. It feels amazing even in my knotty curly mess.

Making things for her, home and kids are the most rewarding projects for sure.

I like it, and so would my wife.
How did you cut the tines?

The tines slot over an indexing pin in the 2 minute mini box joint style jig I made fro my TS sled. Super simple jig I will try to post a pic later.

Been years since I bothered to comb my hair…but this has me very tempted to make a few of these. And I have lots of spalted birch and plenty of purpleheart here in my woodshop with me right now too. Cool stuff!
