Wood Leaves

My wife wanted a couple of wood leaves to use for decoration in our kitchen. One leaf is made from cherry, the other from maple. I had a piece of scrap cherry with a split. The split worked out perfectly on the leaf.

Great idea! They look really nice.

I think it would’ve been nice an ironic if you would have switched the species up though…...... a maple leaf from cherry and a cherry leaf of maple. ;-)

Those look really good Mike. I think if you did a bit of sculpting, and easing the edges they would look even better…...just my 2-cents.
